Rural Professionals Inspiring Rural Youth at Our Fifth Career Day in Chinchghar
On 3 August 2026, Learning Space Foundation successfully conducted its Fifth Career Day Programme at H. V. Patil Vidyalay & Junior College, Chinchghar, bringing together more than 900 students from Grades 9 and 10 (Marathi and Semi-English Medium) and Grades 11 and 12 (Arts and Science Streams). The programme was conducted in the presence of the Principal, teachers, and school staff, creating an engaging platform for students to explore their future career possibilities.
A defining highlight of this Career Day was that it was entirely conducted by rural professionals for rural youth. The programme showcased how individuals from rural backgrounds can inspire the next generation by sharing their experiences, knowledge, and guidance. This unique approach helped students relate to the speakers and reinforced the message that success is achievable regardless of one's background when supported by the right opportunities and guidance.
The interactive sessions introduced students to a wide range of career opportunities, academic courses, higher education pathways, emerging professions, and scholarship opportunities. Students gained valuable insights into planning their educational journey and making informed career decisions based on their interests, strengths, and aspirations.
Members of Learning Space Foundation also introduced the Udaan Project and demonstrated how the Career Sakha digital platform helps students identify their strengths, interests, and capabilities while providing personalized career guidance, scholarship information, and suitable career pathways. The platform aims to support students beyond the classroom by enabling them to make well-informed decisions about their future.
The programme received an overwhelming response from the students, who actively participated throughout the sessions with great enthusiasm and curiosity. As a result, more than 210 students registered to begin their career development journey through the Udaan initiative, reflecting their eagerness to explore new opportunities and prepare for successful careers.
The successful completion of the Fifth Career Day marks another important milestone in Learning Space Foundation's mission of Transforming Lives Through Learning. By empowering rural youth with quality career guidance delivered by rural professionals, the Foundation continues to bridge the information gap and create meaningful opportunities for students to build confident, informed, and successful futures.

Third Career Day in Khanivade School
Learning Space Foundation successfully conducted its third Career Day on 28 July 2026 at Prathamik Vidyamandir, Khanivade, for students of Grades 9 and 10. The program was designed to introduce students to a wide range of career opportunities and help them make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
The session featured engaging presentations and interactive discussions that encouraged students to actively participate, ask questions, and share their aspirations. Through these meaningful interactions, students gained valuable insights into emerging career fields, higher education pathways, and the skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Many students discovered career opportunities they had not previously considered, broadening their perspective on future possibilities.
A key highlight of the event was the enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the students throughout the session. Fourth Career Day in Mumbai
Learning Space Foundation successfully conducted its fourth Career Day on 29 July 2026 at Patuck Technical High School & Junior College, Mumbai, bringing together more than 400 students from Grades 9 to 12, along with an encouraging presence of parents and teachers.
To ensure meaningful engagement, the program was conducted in two dedicated sessions. The first session was organized for students of Grades 9 and 10, while the second session was designed for Grades 11 and 12, allowing discussions to be tailored to the academic stage and career aspirations of each group.
The sessions were conducted by Mr. Apurva Vaishnav, Founder of Joie Foundation and Career Sakha, who shared valuable insights on career planning, higher education opportunities, emerging career paths, and the importance of developing future-ready skills. Mr. Nitin Orayan, Founder of Learning Space Foundation, was also present throughout the event, encouraging students and reaffirming the Foundation's commitment to empowering young minds through quality career guidance.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in discussions, asked thoughtful questions, and explored a wide range of career opportunities. Learning Space Foundation successfully hosted its first Career Day in Mumbai on 25 July 2026, bringing together students from Grades 9 to 12 for a day of learning, inspiration, and career exploration.

Second Career Day in Vajreshwari
Learning Space Foundation successfully organized its second Career Day at Vajreshwari on 27 July 2026, welcoming more than 300 students from Grades 9 to 12. Building on the momentum of our first event, this Career Day expanded our outreach and reaffirmed our commitment to bringing quality career guidance to rural and semi-urban communities.
The session was led by Mr. Nitin Orayan and Mr. Apurva Vaishnav, who shared practical insights into career planning, higher education opportunities, and the skills required to succeed in today's competitive world. Their engaging presentations encouraged students to think confidently about their future and understand the importance of preparing early for their career journeys.
A key highlight of the event was the overwhelming participation from students, who actively interacted with the speakers, shared their aspirations, and sought guidance on choosing the right educational and career pathways. The open discussions created an encouraging environment where students felt comfortable asking questions and exploring opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings.

Inauguration of the First Floor – Skill Development Centre, Kelthan
On 18 June 2026, Learning Space Foundation inaugurated the first floor of the Skill Development Centre at Saraswati Ganpat Patil Vidyalaya, Kelthan (Vajreshwari), Palghar, marking an important milestone in strengthening vocational education for rural youth.
Developed with the generous support of Apar Industries Limited through its CSR initiative and in partnership with the Rotary Club of Bombay Pier, the ₹50 lakh project has transformed the school into a future-ready learning space. The new facility will provide nearly 200 students of Classes VIII to X with access to science and computer laboratories, vocational training facilities, and hands-on learning opportunities that enhance career awareness and employability.
The inauguration was attended by representatives of the Rotary Club of Bombay Pier, school management, village leaders, teachers, students and community members. The ceremony, enriched with traditional prayers and cultural rituals, celebrated a shared vision of empowering rural children through quality education and skill development.

A New Chapter Begins at Saraswati Ganpat Patil Vidyalaya
On 7th August 2026, Learning Space Foundation marked the Bhoomi Pujan for Phase II of the Skill Development Centre at Saraswati Ganpat Patil Vidyalaya, Kelthan (Vajreshwari). The new facility will include vocational training centres for beauty & skin care, sewing & fashion design, carpentry, painting, and mobile & electronics repair, along with a Science Lab, Computer Lab, Library, AV Hall, and Conference Room. During the ceremony, students proudly demonstrated their skills in mobile repair, electrical circuits, paramedical care, sewing, and creative plastic recycling—showcasing the talent, confidence, and potential of rural youth.
Learning Space Foundation's SafeSpace – Girls' Restroom & Sanitation Project received the Indian CSR Award for Best Women's Hygiene Project from the Brand Honchos Group. The award was presented to Founder Shri Nitin Orayan on 7th October at Hyatt Centric, New Delhi. SafeSpace promotes menstrual hygiene, dignity, and safe sanitation for adolescent girls in rural schools. Research highlights that inadequate sanitation is a major factor behind school dropouts among rural girls. Through this initiative, LSF is helping ensure that every girl has the opportunity to continue her education with confidence and dignity.
Celebrating 15 Years of Partnership with Purpose
On 21 July 2025, Axis Bank and Axis Max Life Insurance celebrated 15 years of their trusted partnership by launching Axis Max Life Udaan in collaboration with Learning Space Foundation – Maharashtra. The launch marked the beginning of a significant initiative dedicated to empowering underserved youth across Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to build successful careers.
Axis Max Life Udaan is a comprehensive Youth Empowerment Program designed to bridge the gap between education and employment. The program focuses on career counselling, aptitude assessments, vocational and employability skills, including communication, digital literacy, and soft skills, while also providing students with exposure to diverse career pathways and economic opportunities. Through these interventions, the initiative aims to prepare young people for a rapidly evolving world of work and help them make informed career decisions.
The launch event was held at Patuck Polytechnic Institute, Mumbai, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior leaders of Axis Bank, Axis Max Life Insurance, trustees and representatives of Learning Space Foundation, and youth participants. During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of creating equal opportunities for young people, particularly those from rural and semi-urban communities.
This collaboration combines Learning Space Foundation's 20 years of experience in rural education with the commitment of Axis Bank and Axis Max Life Insurance to community development. Together, the partners aim to create meaningful opportunities that equip young people with the skills, guidance, and confidence to pursue brighter futures.
